Well, it's 2:30 in the morning and half of my family is still awake. :) I just got done helping my mom wrap presents.. lol. My brother Steven, his girlfriend Romona, and my niece Leannah are leaving to go to Arizona tomorrow night or I should say tonight so we went ahead and wrapped all of their presents so they could open them before they take off for two weeks. :( All of Romona's family lives there and they haven't seen Leannah since she was 2 months old. Exactly a year ago they arrived at our house on Late Christmas Eve/Early Christmas Morning. So now this year they're spending Christmas with her family. :)
Awe.. I'm really gonna miss Weah Weah.
She's too freakin' adorable. =D Although I won't miss her making a mess in my room. :/ It's going to be weird not having any of them around for awhile. I had to get use to having them around when they moved down here.. and let me tell you.. that was a hard adjustment. Everything's cool now.. Romona and I never talked before, and now she's one of my best friends. I guess the main reason we never talked before was because she was going out with my brother and he was always telling her that my friends and I made fun of her and shit which really pissed me off. -_- But we're all over that stuff and now we get along okay I guess except for Steven and me.. we didn't have the best brother/sister relationship growing up, but I'm not the one to blame for that. Anyways.. I hope they have fun in Arizona and especially on the 2 day drive there.. lol. Woo Hoo! What fun..
Well.. I guess I'm going to TRY and go to bed now. We still have tons of Christmas shopping to do in the morning plus we're going to the movies again for the fourth time this week. Hopefully, we'll get everything done in time. :)
Today my mom and I went to finish up on some very late Christmas shopping. -_- We ran everywhere and the traffic didn't help at all. The people in the mall drove me crazy.. walking -5 mph. Haha.. if that's even possible.
I feel awful shopping with my mom around Christmas time though. She does too much for me at times and in return it makes me feel selfish. She helped me pay for half of my laptop I got after Thanksgiving, which I wanted to be the only thing I got from her for Christmas, BUT now it's like she never paid for it.. and she's getting me way too much for Christmas. SHE talked ME into getting a $200 ipod today.. which she bought and now I feel horrible. :( I mean when it comes to my brothers, she's only spending half the money she spent on me. I don't want them to feel like she's picking favorites or anything, ya know?
Anyways.. lol.. when we were on our way to the mall, my mom thought she was speed racer or some shit and she decides to go about 20 mph over the speed limit.. haha.. and then all of a sudden the car ahead of us stops out of nowhere causing her to slam on her brakes.. and I mean SLAM. LOL.. You could hear her tires squealing a mile away.. I swear I almost flew through the wind shield. If you only knew how cautious my mom is at driving you would get a kick out of this. We laughed about it for at least an hour.. she's great!
Well, I'm new to this whole blogging thing. I've always wanted to try keeping up with one of these, but I never did accomplish finding a good site to host it on. That is, until I found vox of course. This site is more manageable than all the others I've tried. So hopefully I'll keep up with it.. I'm pretty sure I won't have any problem with it though. :) I think the problem before was that I'm use to writing at night.. I don't really know why.. I guess because it's more comfortable and appealing to me; however, I wasn't able to get online at night because our family shared a computer.
Well, anyways.. on Black Friday this year I stood in line for 15 hours just to get a laptop so hey.. it was worth it. :) Now I can get on here whenever I feel like it, say what I have to say.
